Dry Flowable Adjuvants

A: Dry flowable (DF) or Water dispersible granules (WDG) formulations are similar to wettable powders except that the powders (clay particles) are formed into tiny spheres. They do not tend to pack together so they “flow” easily from the product container.

A: Dry flowables—Or water dispersible granules, as they are sometimes called—are manufactured in the same way as wettable powders except that the powder is aggregated into granular particles. They are diluted with water and applied in a spray exactly as if they were a wettable powder.

A: It is an 80% fungicide and acaracide with sulfur particles of 10 microns or less, providing more optimal coverage on crops. The particle size of the dispersed sulfur ranges from 0.1 - 10.0 microns with an average particle size of 3.0 microns.

A: It is a systemic fungicide that protects plants from fungi in the water mold family, such as Late blight and Downy mildew. It moves up the treated plant stem to growing leaves. It also has anti-sporulate activity, which helps to prevent the spread of blight between plants.

A: Captan 50% WP is a fungicide of micronized particle size for use in water as a spray for the control of certain fungus diseases of fruit, vegetable seeds, and ornamental crops. It gives excellent protection against a wide variety of fungal infections in crops, both at the seeding stage and in mature plants.

A: When applied as a foliar spray, dimethomorph penetrates the leaf surface and is translocated within the leaf to provide protectant action against plant pathogenic Phytophthora species and a number of downy mildew diseases of fruit, vegetables and potatoes.

A: Application Sites: Dimethomorph is a systemic morpholine fungicide for use on potatoes. Its mode of action is the inhibition of sterol (ergosterol) synthesis.
