Features of Microemulsion

It is a microemulsion adjuvant. This non-ionic surfactant complex is designed with advanced molecular engineering to ensure exceptional emulsification and dispersion performance. Its unique molecular structure allows it to maintain stable emulsification across a wide transparent temperature range, which is crucial for microemulsion formulations of agrochemical products.

Applicatin of Microemulsion

Recent interest in microemulsion systems has resulted from their utility in a broad range of applications including enhanced oil recovery, consu- mer and pharmaceutical formulations, nanoparticle synthesis, and chemical reaction media. In food industry, microemulsion promotes solubilization of insoluble nutrients in non-polar solvent. It also finds application in polymerization and chemical reactions as media and vehicles, by introducing reactants in nanosized water droplets.

Types of Microemulsion

Emulsifier SP-ME005E: This product is a precisely engineered non-ionic surfactant complex, specifically developed for low-concentration pyrethroid microemulsions, such lambda cyhalothrin mix emamectin benzoate.

Emulsifier SP-MR45: Emulsifier SP-MR45 is a microemulsion adjuvant. This non-ionic surfactant complex is designed with advanced molecular engineering to ensure exceptional emulsification and dispersion performance.

Production Method of Microemulsion

In carrying out this method, microemulsions are prepared in a four-step process: A surfactant is selected which is just barely soluble in the oil phase. The surfactant thus selected is dissolved in the oil to be emulsified in an amount effective to yield a fine emulsion of the emulsified oil in an aqueous phase. The oil, together with its dissolved surfactant, is added to the water phase and shaken or stirred. There is provided a second surfactant in the water phase which is somewhat more soluble in water than the first surfactant to produce a substantially clear microemulsion of oil in water.

FAQ

Q: What types of agrochemical products is this product suitable for?

A: This product is suitable for a variety of agrochemical formulations, such as tebuconazole ME and triazole fungicide.

Q: Will the emulsification performance be affected by temperature variations?

A: This product has a wide transparent temperature range, meaning its emulsification performance remains stable even under high or low temperature conditions.

Q: Does this product have any toxicity or irritancy?

A: This product has low irritancy and is safer compared to traditional surfactants. It is suitable for use in various agrochemical formulations with minimal risk.

Q: Can this product be mixed with other agrochemical products?

A: This product has good compatibility and can be mixed with many agrochemical products. However, it is recommended to conduct a small-scale test before large-scale application to ensure compatibility.

Q: What is the difference between emulsion and microemulsion?

A: Another difference is that microemulsions are clear or translucent with droplet size in nanometers, while emulsions are coarse, milky dispersions with droplet size usually measured in micrometers. The use of microemulsions for the transdermal delivery of specific therapeutic agents is also described.

Q: What are the benefits of microemulsions?

A: Microemulsion systems may also be used to much greater effect at much lower concentrations when compared to normal emulsion forming surfactant systems, resulting in reduced waste, time and cost savings, and improved health and safety aspects.

Q: What is the difference between emulsion and homogenization?

A: Emulsification is a mixture of two phases and belongs to a thermally unstable system, while homogeneous solutions belong to a thermally stable system. Emulsification may experience layering over time, while homogeneous mixtures can maintain a stable and uniform distribution for a long time.

Q: How to make microemulsion?

A: Microemulsion systems were prepared by mixing oil with the mixture of surfactant and cosurfactant, and water was added precisely into oily phases with magnetic stirring (300 r/min) at 37°C.
