Atrazine 90 WDG（Application Case）

Triazine herbicides are an important type of herbicides that play an important role in crop protection. SINVOCHEM synthesis and application R&D team has developed dispersant SP-WG77, a medium molecular weight polycarboxylate dispersant prepared using controlled polymerization technology, specially for TC of Triazine type. With narrow molecular weight distribution and controllable structure of hydrophilic and lipophilic chain segments, it is an excellent dispersant for high loading triazine water dispersible granules.

 Highly cost-effective, low additive amount, 90% Atrazine WDG with excellent performance can be prepared by adding only 3%        dispersant SP-WG77 in formula.

 Good for smooth extrusion and higher production efficiency.

 Heat endurance and may improve drying efficiency.

 Good hard water resistance, fast disintegration in triple hard water, high suspensibility, suitable for different application scenarios.

Test 1: Laboratory Trial

We formulated 90% Atrazine WDG with dispersant SP-WG77 and three commercial dispersant 1#, 2#, 3#, wet sieve tests were carried out and the results are shown below.

Compared to commercial dispersants, 90% Atrazine WDG formulated with SP-WG77 shows higher pass rate in the wet sieve test (see figure 1). This indicates that with SP-WG77, we can use low use rate and still achieve good performance of the formulation.

It can be seen that formulation with SP-WG77 shows mist dispersion into water and disintegrates completely after 18 times of inversion. Besides, formulation with SP-WG77 demonstrates better resistance to stand triple hard water than commercially available formulations of 1#, 2# and 3#.
