How to control machine blockage?
1.Choose different milling machines for different TCs (equipment manufacturers often recommend using high-efficiency sand mills which may not be suitable for all formulations)
2.High loading formulations are processed through multi-stage milling: first grinding a low-concentration batch, then adding rest TC to the pre-ground batch for further milling.
3.Control the flow rate
4.Two low-melting-point AIs cannot be milled together in sand milling, as this may lead to eutectic formation, resulting in a eutectic point and producing a mixture with a melting point lower than either individual AI. Therefore, they must be milled separately.
Such as:
Pyraclostrobin (64°C) + Difenoconazole (76°C);
Lambda-cyhalothrin (49.2°C) + Emamectin benzoate;
Lambda-cyhalothrin (49.2°C) + Indoxacarb (88.1°C).
*Note: The technical-grade emamectin benzoate contains low-melting-point impurities with a melting point below 70°C.*
