Suspension agent refers to the preparation of solid pesticide technical drug uniformly dispersed in water with particles less than 4 microns, code named SC. Since SC has no flying dust problem like wettable powder (WP), it is nonflammable and explosive, small in particle size, high in biological activity, large in weight, small in package volume, and safe and environmentally friendly compared with other pesticides. Therefore, SC has become a large tonnage pesticide variety among new waterborne pesticide formulations.
Component
Suspension agent is a kind of flowable suspension of viscose silk, which is made by mixing pesticide raw drug, carrier and dispersant, and superfine pulverizing by wet method. It is a kind of stable liquid-solid system with fine particles, suspension and strong mobility, which is made up of insoluble or slightly soluble solid APIs and certain additives after ultra-fine pulverization and relatively uniform dispersion in water. Suspension agent usually consists of active ingredient, dispersant, thickener, anti precipitation agent, defoamer, antifreeze and water. The content of effective ingredients is generally 5%~50%, and the average particle size is generally about 3 microns. It is a new dosage form for pesticide processing.
Characteristic
The particle size is fine, generally 0.1~3 μ m. The suspension rate is high, and the efficacy is better than that of wettable powder; No organic solvent, low volatility, low toxicity, safe for humans and animals; It is not flammable and explosive, safe in storage and transportation, and can be sprayed by aircraft. In order to prevent product decomposition, precipitation, caking, freezing, etc., stabilizer, antifreeze, etc. shall be used.
