Cyhalofop-Butyl Herbicide（Application Case）

Cyhalofop-butyl is a synthetic herbicide that is commonly used for post-emergence control of grassy weed species in various crops, including rice, wheat, barley, soybeans, and corn. It belongs to the chemical group of aryloxyphenoxypropionates (FOPs) and acts by inhibiting the biosynthesis of lipids in susceptible weeds, leading to their death.

Cyhalofop-butyl is selective towards grassy weeds and does not harm broadleaf crops when used at recommended rates. It targets weed species such as barnyardgrass, watergrass, crabgrass, and foxtail. The herbicide is commonly available in the form of emulsifiable concentrate and is applied as a foliar spray.

Description

SP-EW05 is a blend emulsifier of polymer dispersant and small-molecule surfactant. It is suitable for most pyrethroids EW products. Outstanding features of SP-EW05 are good flowability, wide application scope, excellent emulsion stability and low addition amount (3-8%). It shows good compatibility to different TC(s) with different content after concurrent and countercurrent shearing.

Application

Universal emulsifier for EW and SE formulations. Especially suitable for insecticide that belongs to the pyrethroid class of chemicals.
