In the pesticide industry, the stability of active ingredients with low melting points during heat storage is a key concern. To solve this issue, we have introduced SP-WG83, a lignin sulfonate with a molecular weight of around 2000.

With an addition of about 30%, SP-WG83 can fully encapsulate the active ingredient particles. This prevents the formation of dry particles during the drying process and improves the disintegration performance after heat storage. Another advantage of SP-WG83 is its low viscosity. Even when increasing the amount of adjuvants, it does not cause excessive viscosity in the system. This ensures smooth granulation and prevents machine blockages during production.

Before and after heat storage, the lignin sulfonate-based solution exhibits excellent water dispersion and physical suspension rates. Experimental results of pyrazole show that after heat storage, the active ingredient content of 6.7% pyrazole remained at 6.48%, with a suspension rate of over 95%.

In conclusion, using SP-WG83 as an adjuvant in pesticide formulations can significantly improve the heat storage stability of low melting point active ingredients. It enhances particle encapsulation, prevents the formation of dry particles, maintains good disintegration performance after storage, and ensures smooth production without causing excessive viscosity. This makes it a reliable choice for improving formulation stability in the agrochemical industry.
