
UNIFLY 001 Anti Drift Adjuvant
Drone application has been available in China since the 1960s. However, since the 2010s it has been boomed on a significant scale due to cheaper application cost, better efficiency and less labor consumption compared to manual spray.
As a developing technology, drone application can have several challenges:
· Small pesticide droplets are easy to drift and evaporate, leading to deposition reduction on the target surfaces
· Less water consumption, and the pesticide droplet is hard to reach the pests and diseases at the hidden parts of plants, resulting in efficacy reduction against manual knapsack sprayer.
· Mix multiple pesticide formulations and fertilizers in a single spary, which cause flocculation and precipitation and clogging of the nozzle.

Anti-drift Adjuvant UNIFLY 001 for Drone Application

Anti-drift Test
We used a market Pyraclostrobin 250 g/l SC formulation as the control. Anti-drift test was conducted at a dilution rate of 15 ml Pyraclostrobin 250 g/l SC in 1L water. UNIFLY 001 and a market benchmark were tested at 1%(10ml) dosage.

Demonstrated in Figure 1 and Table 1 are the improved performance of UNIFLY 001 for droplet size distribution. Droplet size increased significantly compared to market benchmark and enhanced anti-drift properties.
Beside the comparative test through the wind tunnel system, we also run the filed trials to evaluate the performance of UNIFLY 001.

We used water sensitive paper to test the droplet size distribution and got consistent conclusion that UNIFLY 001 can improve anti drift performance.
